Sofia DeVille is a remarkable Swedish singer-songwriter whose early home-recorded demos from 2007–2008 reveal a raw, untamed energy and emotional intensity. Her music stands out for its wild strength and innocence — immediately recalling the spirit of artists like Danielle Dax, Syd Barrett, Josephine Foster, and early Devendra Banhart. Living in near-isolation, DeVille channels her unique environment into haunting, fearless songs that feel both personal and timeless.

These early recordings, captured in a brutally honest lo-fi setting, retain a fiery energy that remains compelling years later. These lost demos — recently rediscovered — are being released in their original, unedited form. Their authenticity speaks loud, offering a raw and vivid portrait of an emerging artist with a singular voice.
