Dark Companion Records

Five years after the release of Songs From The Harbour, and in the most unlikely way to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Dark Companion Records, here comes a second collection of musical sketches: ideas or, more honestly, solipsistic nocturnal sessions in which I gather my scattered thoughts, exploring sounds, reverbs, and electroacoustic refractions.

I’ve noticed that some of these pieces, beyond their usual introspective and melancholic intent, seem to hark back to winter or late autumn, perhaps because I was born during a heavy snowfall in a foggy November, ages ago. If I can pass that feeling on to you, then this album has fulfilled its purpose.

Over these ten years, Dark Companion has grown, and through it I’ve met wonderful people: musicians with insatiable curiosity, extraordinary sound engineers, photographers, music lovers, and souls filled with desire and grace. To all of them, I dedicate this humble work.
