Ultraminimal Piano Essence
Alessandra Celletti

2024 – DCE007
Alessandra Celletti is a classically trained pianist, her work blends classical roots with rock, avant-garde, and electronic influences. She has collaborated with artists like Franco Battiato and Hans-Joachim Roedelius. In her album Minimal, she reinterpreted works by Satie, Pärt, Cage, and Glass alongside her own compositions.
“I love these composers because they seek the essence of sound, using only the fundamental elements of harmony, melody, and rhythm — stripping music of anything unnecessary.
With Ultraminimal, I tried to push that idea further, attempting something radical: treating each note of my piano as a precious element in an alchemical process. This album is a sonic journey into the infinitely small — a way to express inner resonances through sound. It is a gamble, perhaps even a real risk. But I like to move through life and art as if I have nothing to lose. The only thing I truly want to protect is my desire to search.
Between the desert and the stars, there is an invisible sound—with no points of reference.”
