For many, the music of Henry Cow represented a transformative listening experience – complex, challenging, and enduringly influential. This new project, created under the name HN, marks a remarkable reunion of four pioneering musicians, whose collaborative work helped define a unique chapter in experimental music history.

Reuniting these artists – each a tireless explorer of sound – was no small undertaking. Yet the decision to come together again, decades after their original journey, was met with shared conviction. The resulting music reflects over fifty years of individual and collective evolution, without compromise – a testament to the enduring creative spirit that first brought these musicians together.

Two different edits and mixes by Fred Frith, in collaboration with Tim Hodgkinson, make the LP version distinct from the CD edition, resulting in a visionary, reimagined project-object.
