We are proud to announce the second album by The Boxhead Ensemble (aka Michael Krassner) on Dark Companion. This innovative, breathtaking music was originally conceived as the soundtrack to a documentary film by Michael James Beck and Star Rosencrans, bearing the same title. The film exposes the severe deforestation of North America’s majestic forests.
The music resonates with arcane tones buried deep within our collective memory. It tells ancient stories without words, preserving a profound sense of sacredness — layered beneath the sediments of time and space, but never erased.
