Pier Luigi Andreoni

2025 – DC025
Andreoni’s work has consistently developed across different scenes and artistic contexts, shaped by formal training at the G. Nicolini Conservatory in Piacenza and by an early interest in electronics and sound research.
From his beginnings in the late 1970s with the pre-new wave group La Pattona, through the formation of A.T.R.O.X. in the early 1980s, Andreoni has explored the intersections between post-punk, electronic music, and avant-garde composition.
The Marco Polo albums – featuring artists such as David Sylvian, Roger Eno, Harold Budd, and David Torn – marked an important phase in his trajectory, bringing together musicians from different backgrounds in a coherent, reflective body of work. This approach continued with the Keen-O project, created with Arlo Bigazzi and developed with contributions from Blaine L. Reininger and others.
As we present this new record, our intention is to acknowledge a musician who has followed a personal path for several decades, working with consistency, curiosity, and clarity. This release is another chapter in that ongoing process.
