Dark Companion Records

Music for Labyrinths is an open, live project created as a soundtrack for labyrinths around the world — and within ourselves. A labyrinth is an ancient symbol of wholeness. It weaves together the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering, yet purposeful, path. It represents a journey to our own center and then back out into the world.

Labyrinths have long been used as tools for meditation and prayer. They are archetypes that offer a direct, personal experience — a metaphor for life’s journey. A labyrinth creates a sacred space, inviting us to step beyond the ego and connect with what lies within. It offers just one choice: to enter, or not.
