Luca and Markus began collaborating in 2005, when Markus invited Luca to join an international ensemble for the Suoni delle Dolomiti festival. Their collaboration has continued ever since, and on July 9, 2021, during a visit to central Italy, Markus stopped by Luca’s studio, where they recorded a fully improvised session — four unedited takes with no overdubs — now captured in this album.
The music documents a dialogue between two distinct musical voices, flowing with intuition, tension, and release. Their deep listening, mutual trust, and individual presence guide them into unexplored sonic landscapes. Acoustic and electronic textures merge in a spontaneous exploration of space, time, and emotion. The result is a dreamlike sound world where dimensions seem to expand and dissolve.
