Annie Barbazza

2020 – DC013/DCLP013
Annie Barbazza’s debut solo album marks a major step in the career of this rising avant-prog artist. Discovered by Greg Lake — who featured her on Live in Piacenza and produced Moonchild — Barbazza has since collaborated with John Greaves, Paul Roland, and North Sea Radio Orchestra, earning acclaim for her powerful yet intimate performances.
Originally envisioned by Lake as a solo effort with Annie playing all instruments, the album evolved into a rich collaboration featuring an amazing roster of guests. Emotional, eclectic, and unfiltered, this album gives voice to Barbazza’s dreams, doubts, and creativity. The production is raw and immediate, letting Annie’s extraordinary voice shine at the center of it all.
